Saturdays forecast – Sunshine and rain
it was a beautiful day today with plenty of sunshine and it was properly warm as well!
Overnight tonight is forecast to remain fine and dry, The cloud is starting to push in across the Western Isles. Tomorrow morning will be overcast for the Southern half of the Western Isles with some sunny spells the Northern Half will fair better with some decent morning sunshine.
As we go into the afternoon the cloud will thicken across all parts we will see some sunny spells in the breaks in the cloud but the cloud will dominate. The rain will start to push in by mid afternoon and it will be heavy at times. The heaviest of tomorrows rain is forecast to be across the Northern Half of the Western isles but the Southern half will get some rain but to a less extent then the Northern Half.
The heavy rain is forecast to last for the rest of the evening tomorrow night for the Northern Half, Some sharp showers are possible across the Southern Half of the Western Isles. We could see some thunder and lightning tomorrow night.
The heavy rain is forecast to last into Sunday for the Northern half of the Western Isles and overcast for the Southern Half of the Western Isles. Winds will be around 10 to 20 mph from an Easterly and South Easterly direction and temps around 13C to 19C
