Tuesdays forecast – Internet working better now… Don’t need to a buy a new hamster just yet then!
Its quite an overcast end to the day for many across the Western Isles tonight, Its a dry night with no rain. The cloud is forecast to stay thick overnight tonight with no rainfall either.
Into tomorrow morning and its forecast to be a morning of sunshine and cloud however the cloud is forecast to dominate with the risk of some light showers across the Southern Half of the Western Isles but these should clear by lunch time.
Into the afternoon and this when we should see the best of the sunshine as the cloud breaks we should get some long and prolonged spells of sunshine. The best of the sunshine is forecast across the Northern Half of the Western Isles. The dry sunny weather will be short lived as the cloud will thicken again and more showers will push in, again mainly confined to the Southern Half of the Western Isles the Northern Half should stay mostly dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out.
It may feel like we are picking on the Southern Half but we isn’t this is just what is forecast. Into the late evening and overnight into Wednesday more rain is forecast to push across the Southern Half of the Western Isles and there is some uncertainty as yet as to the intensity of the rainfall but we could see some very heavy showers push in. The Northern Half will stay mainly dry but we could see a few light showers at times.
Winds will be from a Southerly and South Easterly direction around 10 to 20 mph and temps around 15C to 20C
