Wednesdays forecast – Sunshine and showers
Some heavy showers across the part of the Western Isles at the moment. A risk of some Thunderstorms.
Overnight tonight will see more showers cross the Western Isles. At times they will be heavy in nature with quite a lot of cloud around.
Into tomorrow morning and there will be some showers around but they will be mostly light in nature. However heavier rain is forecast to push into the Southern Half of the Western Isles and by late afternoon will push across the Northern Half and there is a low risk of some thunderstorms again.
The rain is forecast to become lighter across the Southern Half of the Western Isles and the cloud should start to see some decent sunny spells breaking through. The rain will clear by the late afternoon from the Northern Half of the Western Isles and we should see some prolonged spells of sunshine.
It should be a fine dry end to the day. Winds will be from an Easterly and South Easterly direction for the first half of the day before shifting to come from a South Westerly direction around 10 to 20 mph. Temps will range from 12C to 17C
