Wednesdays forecast 3/9/14

Wednesdays forecast – Sunshine and cloud.

High pressure is dominating our weather at the moment. Its a mostly dry end to the day across the Western Isles. Some drizzle and light showers in places but nothing to significant.

Overnight tonight is going to be fairly overcast, some breaks in the cloud and a few light showers are possible.

Into tomorrow and all day tomorrow its going to be roughly the same. Lot of cloud around but in the breaks in the cloud we should see some sunshine and if we lucky in places we could see some prolonged sunshine. The best of the sunshine looks like being during the late afternoon and early evening but the cloud thickens back in again. It will be a mostly dry day but some light rain and drizzle are possible.

Winds will be from a Southerly and South Westerly direction around 10 to 20 mph reaching 30 mph in more exposed coastal locations and temps will range from 12C to 17C
