Wednesdays forecast – Unrelenting High pressure!

First day back at work today after a long weekend and for me the weather quite frankly whilst being decent was rather boring… its quiet mundane.

Its a fairly overcast end to the day for much of the Western Isles with quite a bit of drizzle around a moderate breeze. Overnight tonight the cloud is forecast to remain and more showers around mainly light in nature.

Into tomorrow morning and its forecast to be an overcast start to the day. With the risk of some mist and fog patch. Always a high chance of some drizzle and light rain. We should see some breaks in the cloud and get some decent sunny spells for a time.

Into the afternoon and all being well the cloud will shift and we should see a fine, dry and sunny afternoon with prolonged sunshine. It should remain fine and dry into the evening with clear skies being forecast as we go overnight into Thursday.

Winds tomorrow from a Southerly and South Westerly direction around 10 to 20 mph and in exposed coastal areas reaching 30 mph.Temps will range from 10C to 16C
