Week ahead forecast – last week of spring…
I want and keeping want to report some good news. But no signs of anything like Spring or even Summer another unsettled week ahead.
On this Sunday evening at 19:00 we have a few showers spreading across the Western isles.
Monday
Overnight Sunday into Monday and we are going to see some showers spread across the Western Isles. They are forecast to be mostly light in nature. Into Monday morning and the rain is forecast to clear away. It should be a mostly dry morning. The cloud is expected to dominate. However we should see some decent sunshine in the breaks in the cloud. Into the afternoon and evening and this is where we are forecast to see the best of the sunshine. There will still be a lot of cloud around but we should see some prolonged sunshine. By late evening cloud is forecast to thicken back in once again. We will see some rain spread in buts its forecast to be mostly light. Winds will be from a Westerly and North Westerly direction around 10 to 30 mph. Temps will range from 6C to 12C but will feel colder in the wind chill.
Tuesday
ugh.. Overnight Monday into Tuesday and we are going to see a cloud dominated night. Light rain and drizzle is forecast. Into Tuesday day time and its the same theme all day. Cloud dominate. Rain mostly light some heavier bursts. Little or no sunshine and drizzle. Winds from a Westerly and North Westerly direction around 10 to 40 mph. Temps of 6C to 11C
Wednesday
Overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. We are forecast to see rain spread across the Western Isles. The rain is going to be heavy at times the heaviest of the rain is forecast across the Northern Half of the Western Isles. Some light rain is forecast for Wednesday morning and we should see some decent sunny spells in the breaks in the cloud. Into the afternoon and more heavy rain is forecast for the entire Western Isles. The heavy rain is forecast to last into Thursday across the Southern Half of the Western Isles but become lighter for the Northern Half. Winds will be from a Westerly and South Westerly direction around 10 to 40 mph and temps will range from 6C to 12C
Thursday
Some heavy overnight rain as we go overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Into Thursday morning and more heavy rain is forecast for the Northern Half of the Western Isles. Lighter rain forecast for the Southern Half with some decent and possibly prolonged sunshine. Into the afternoon and its going to be a mix of sunshine and showers these are going to be heavy at times. Should be dry as we go overnight into Friday. Winds will be from a Westerly direction around 10 to 40 mph. Temps will range from 6C to 14C
Friday
Overnight Thursday into Friday and we are going to see some showers spread across the Western Isles. Into Friday and its going to be a mixture of sunshine and showers. These showers are going to be heavy at times. Despite the showers we should still see some decent and at times prolonged sunshine. Winds will be from a Northerly and North Westerly direction around 10 to 30 mph. Temps will range from 6C to 12C
