Thursdays forecast – Sunshine and rain

Overnight Wednesday into Thursday and we are going to see some rain clearing away form the Western Isles. There are still going to be some showers around but in the breaks we are going to see some decent clear spells.

We should see some decent morning sunshine and plenty of cloud around. Now the rain will never be to far away and is likely to become heavier and more intense as the morning goes on. Despite the showers in the breaks in the cloud we should see some decent and at times prolonged sunshine.

The same theme will continue into the afternoon and evening. With some rain that will be heavy and intense at times. Some drier spells and in the breaks in the cloud some decent sunshine.

Into the evening and we will finally start to see the rain clearing and some decent dry spells there will be a few scattered showers around that will be hard to shift.

Winds will be from a Westerly direction around 10 to 40 mph. Temps will range from 4C to 11C but will feel colder in the wind chill.
