On this Saturday morning we have some bands of rain affecting the Northern Half of the Western Isles at around 8:45am.
The Southern Half is fairing a little better. Some rain pushing in here but its lighter in nature.
The rain should clear away as the morning goes on.
Plenty of cloud around this morning but some decent breaks in the cloud, In particular across the Southern Half across Barra and South Uist.
Sunniest place in the Highlands and Eilean Siar on Friday was Stornoway with 8.1 hrs on Sunshine.
The next few day are looking increasingly unsettled before things start to settle down from mid week onwards.
