Fridays forecast – A changeable day. 4/6/15

On this Thursday night at around 11pm we have rain across almost the entire Western Isles. The rain is mostly light and we are getting some drizzle. Some places are seeing some slightly heavier rain.

Overnight Thursday into Friday and we are going to see more light rain across the Western Isles. We are going to see some dry spells before more heavy rain spread in during the early hours of Friday morning.

Into Friday morning and we are forecast to see rain across the Western Isles to start Friday. The rain will become heavier and more intense at the morning goes on. We could see a lot of surface water on the roads.

Into the afternoon and the rain is forecast to ease and to clear away. The afternoon should be mostly fine and dry. Some rain cannot be ruled out. There will be some cloud around in the afternoon but despite this we should see some decent and prolonged sunshine.

Some decent and at times prolonged evening sunshine is forecast for the early evening but the cloud is forecast so spread in rain is expected for all parts and the rain will become heavier across the Southern Half of the Western Isles.

Winds overnight Thursday into Friday will be from a Easterly and South Easterly direction. Before shifting during the early afternoon to come from a Southerly and South Westerly direction. Winds will range from 10 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph. The strongest being during the evening. Temps will range from 7C to 13C
