On this Saturday morning we have low pressure off the coast of the Western Isles bringing us rain and strong winds.
The Low pressure is visible on radar this morning and can be seen on the radar grab I posted on Facebook and Twitter.
Still chance of thunderstorms on Saturday
Met office hourly reading we have seen 46 mph at Stornoway Airport at 6am and 55 mph at South Uist range at 5am .
Sunniest place in the Highlands & Eilean Siar was Stornoway with 6.4 hrs of Sunshine.
Lowest Maximum Temperature and highest rainfall for the Highlands & Eilean Siar was Harris Quidnish with 10.8 mm of rainfall and 12.2C Temperature
Long range and things are looking a lot more settled. Full week ahead forecast will be online as ever on Sunday evening.
