At around 9 am this Sunday morning we have some heavy rain pushing across the Northern Half of the Western Isles. Some of this rain is heavy.
The Southern Half is mainly dry and so far escaping the worst of the rain.
As of 07:00 this Morning there was a lot of cloud across the Western Isles. The best of any clear and sunny spells across the Southern Half of the Western Isles and the top of Lewis.
Stornoway Airport hit 46 mph at 17:00 at the Met office station and 40 mph at 08:00 South Uist range.
High pressure takes firm control of our Weather from today.
Despite the High pressure being over us during the upcoming week, we will still see weather fronts passing over us giving us some unsettled weather at times.
