On this Wednesday evening we have a fine and dry end to the day across the Western Isles. There is no rain around. Cloud covers much of the Western Isles. Apart from the Western Half of Lewis as of 19:00.

For the rest of Wednesday evening and overnight into Thursday and cloud is going to thicken in further across the Western Isles. It should stay dry but there is a risk of some light patchy rain or drizzle.

Into Thursday itself and its going to be a cloud dominated day. It should be a fine and dry day across the Western Isles. There is a risk of some light patchy rain or drizzle at times.

There cloud will be at a very high level on Thursday and will be thick at times so any sunny spells are likely to be few and far between but hopefully we should get some breaks giving us some decent sunshine.

The best of any sunshine will be during the evening. But by this point there is a risk of some mist and fog pushing into parts of the Western Isles.

Winds will be from a South Westerly direction around 10 to 20 mph and temps will range from 7C to 13C
