Weekend ahead forecast – Cloud, Some showers and a sunshine.

On this Thursday evening we have a mostly fine and dry end to the day. We have a little rain around but for many its dry.

There is a plenty of cloud around but there are some breaks allowing for some decent and times prolonged sunshine.

Friday

Overnight Thursday into Friday and we are going to see plenty of cloud around. It should be a mostly fine and dry night. The odd light shower cannot be ruled out. There will be Some mostly light rain pushing across the Western Isles during Friday morning, associated with a cold front across the Western Isles. The rest of Friday is forecast to be mostly fine and dry. There is a chance of some rain can never be ruled out entirely. The cloud will dominated but in the breaks we should see some decent and at times prolonged sunshine.The very best of the sunshine will be across the Southern Half of the Western Isles. It should stay fine and dry as we go overnight into Saturday. Winds will be around 10 to 20 mph. From a Westerly and South Westerly direction shifting during Friday to come in from a North Westerly and then North Easterly direction. Temps will range from 8C to 13C

Saturday –

A tale of two half’s. Overnight Friday into Saturday should be mostly fine and dry. Plenty of cloud is forecast. Into Saturday morning and the cloud is expected to thicken in across the Northern Half and we are going to see rain spread in. Its forecast to be mostly light in nature. As we go into the afternoon the rain should have cleared and we will still see a lot of cloud around but we should start to see some breaks allowing for some decent and times prolonged sunshine. The Southern Half should see a fine and dry. There is a chance of the odd light shower but it should stay dry here. We will see some cloud but for many areas we should see prolonged sunshine with little cloud. We should see a fine end to the day across the Western Isles. Prolonged sunshine at times. We should see clear skies as we go overnight into Sunday. Winds will be around 10 to 30 mph from a Northerly and North Easterly direction and temps will range from 6C to 12C

Sunday

Overnight Saturday into Sunday and we are forecast to see a fine and dry night. Plenty of clear skies. Into Sunday day time and there is forecast to be plenty of cloud around across the Northern half of the Western Isles. However in the breaks in the cloud we should see some decent and prolonged sunshine. The Southern Half should fair even better with some prolonged sunshine. The cloud will thicken in during the evening. Winds will be from a Northerly and North Westerly direction around 10 to 25 mph. Temps will range from 5C to 12C so feeling cooler.
