Mondays forecast – The slow change.

Good evening Western isles on this Sunday evening we are seeing a mostly dry end to the day. Plenty of clear skies with some cloud. A couple of lingering showers across Northern Lewis.

Overnight….. We are going to see a cold night. Temps will be close to or below freezing under clear skies. Risk of frost and ice widely. Always a bit warmer along the immediate coasts. Some stubborn cloud. The odd light shower cannot be ruled out. Some mist and fog. Winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Monday day….. Another fine and for most dry day. The odd shower cannot be ruled out. We are going to see plenty of sunshine. Prolonged and possibly wall to wall sunshine for a time. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Evening….. The cloud is expected to increase. We are going to see some clear spells. Winds will 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be Easterly and South Easterly direction and temps will range from 1C to 8C
