On this Tuesday morning we are seeing the start of a change. Cloud is pushing in across all parts. It’s dry with some clear skies and winds have increased.
Across the highlands and islands on Monday Stornoway was the sunniest with 5.8 hours of sunshine.
Today….. after a dry sunny start for Lewis and Harris cloud will push into all parts. Already gusting 40 mph across the Uists and Barra. Some parts of the Uists and Barra could reach 60 mph later. Rain will push in this evening.
Wednesday….. will be wet and windy with gales and heavy rain.
Thursday…. another windy day with heavy and possibly thundery rain.
Friday…. staying windy with further spells of heavy rain.
Saturday….. a more settled day.
