Sundays forecast – Blustery showers.

Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing a mixture of clear skies and cloud. A hard frost in places with temps below freezing. A few light showers around.

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of mist and fog patches. Frost and ice. Winds will also increase. We are going to see a band of rain move across the Western isles. It will bring some sleet and snow mainly to higher ground. It will be heavy. Winds of 5 to 30 mph with some gusts reaching 40 mph.

Morning – A mixture of sunshine and showers. Some of these will be heavy and wintry. In between we are going to see some decent and prolonged sunshine. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Afternoon – Further sunshine and showers. Some of these will be heavy at times. Some of the showers will be wintry. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – Winds are going to ease a little. We are going to see showers with a mixture of clear skies and cloud. The showers are expected to become more scattered by late evening. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Winds will be Westerly and North Westerly direction shifting South Westerly direction to end the day. Temps of -3C to 7C
