On this Sunday morning we are seeing a showery start to the day. These showers are wintry in nature with some sleet and snow mixed in. Snow falling over higher ground. We are seeing blustery winds and in between some decent sunshine. Still some frost and ice around from overnight.

Across the highlands and islands on Saturday Harris Quidnish had the highest maximum temperature of 8.3C

Today – we are going to see further outbreaks of wintry showers. Some sunny spells. Winds will stay gusting 20/30 mph. Showers become more scattered later. Some sunny spells before cloud increases later.

Monday – gales and wintry showers. Winds gusting 50 mph at times during the day.

Tuesday – winds ease but further wintry showers are likely.

Wednesday – light winds and further spells of rain.
