Week ahead forecast – wake me up when its spring.

Good evening Western Isles this coming week looks like a bit of a rollercoaster in terms of weather going from stormy to wintry and mild back to cold again.

Tuesday – Frequent wintry showers. Falling as snow at times. blustery and some sunny spells. Winds will be Westerly and North Westerly direction around 20 to 40 mph and temps will range from -1C to 5C but feeling colder in the wind chill.

Wednesday – A sunshine and showers day. Some of these wintry again but becoming more milder in the evening. Winds easing as the day goes on. Winds will be North Westerly direction 5 to 30 mph and temps will range from -1C to 7C

Thursday – Will be a cloud dominated day with showers. It will be milder then it has been and winds are expected to increase as the day goes on. Winds will be South Westerly direction 10 to 40 mph. Temps will range from -1C to 9C

Friday – Is expected to be a milder day. Cloud dominating with some light rain and drizzle. Winds will be South Westerly direction around 20 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph. Temps will rang from 5C to 10C
