On this Tuesday morning we are seeing an extremely icy start to the day across parts of the Western isles. Sleet and snow showers pushing across the western isles. Winds have eased. Some accumulations of snow. Have you woken up to snow this morning? Leave us a comment below.

Across the highlands and islands on Monday Harris Quidnish had the highest maximum temperature of 7.5C
Today – we are going to see further sleet and snow showers. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine. A risk of thunderstorms with the frequent squally showers. Snow showers increasing once again this evening. Brisk winds of 10/20 mph. Some accumulations of snowfall but should clear fairly fast further frost and ice this evening.
Wednesday – further wintry showers and some sunshine light winds.
Thursday – turning milder overcast with light rain.
Friday – windy and mild.
