On this Thursday morning we are seeing extremely icy conditions across parts of the Western isles. Take it easy if you are out and about. Across the Uists and Barra is milder with some rain.

Across the highlands and islands on Wednesday south Uist range had the highest maximum temperature of 6.0C
Today – will become milder as the day goes on. We will see rain push in during the evening which will become increasingly heavy. Winds will also increase. Some sunny spells plenty of cloud. Temps could reach double figures.
Friday – will be mild with outbreaks of rain and showers.
Saturday – stronger winds and heavy rain.
Sunday – turning colder and wintry again.
