Week ahead forecast – cold *mumble*

Good evening Western Isles its looking like another cold week coming up as we end January and head towards February. Currently trying to work out how I can move the Western isles somewhere warmer….

Tuesday – A snowy start. Frequent wintry showers we could see a covering of snow on Tuesday morning. A mixture of sunshine and wintry showers and brisk winds. Westerly and North Westerly winds of 10 to 25 mph. Temps of -2C to 5C

Wednesday – Another bitterly cold day. Widespread frost and ice to start the day. Snow showers once again. Some of these falling as sleet and rain. Some decent sunshine in between. Winds will be Northerly and North Westerly direction around 5 to 20 mph and temps will range from -2C to 5C

Thursday – A cloud dominating day. With bitterly cold. Some wintry showers. Some sunny spells. Winds will be Easterly and North Easterly direction around 5 to 25 mph. Temps will range from -1C to 5C

Friday – A cloud dominating day once again and staying cold with further wintry sleet and snow showers. Some sunny spells. Winds will be Northerly direction around 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph. Temps will range from 0C to 5C
