Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing sleet and snow showers moving across the Western Isles. Winds are brisk. We are seeing frost and ice.

Overnight – We are going to see some snow falling across the Western Isles. This could be heavy at times resulting in some accumulations. Greatest risk across Lewis and Harris but could be further South. Frost and Ice widespread. Winds of 10 to 30 mph

Tuesday day – Further snow showers. Some accumulations Becoming squally. I despise forecast snowing. Wintry sleet and snow showers. Some sunny spells. Frost and Ice widespread. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – Further squally wintry showers. Frost and ice once again. Showers becoming more scattered as the evening goes. Plenty of clear skies and cloud. Winds of 10 to 30 mph

Winds will be Westerly and North Westerly direction and temps will range from -1C to 5C for most temps will struggle to get above 1 or 2C
