On this Tuesday morning we are seeing frequent sleet and snow showers moving across the Western isles. It is extremely icy for most. We have seen some accumulations of snow. It’s breezy.
Across the highlands and islands on Monday south Uist range had the highest maximum temperature of 6.5C
Today – a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Further wintry showers with further accumulations of snow. These could be heavy at times. Brisk winds. Showers easing for a time this evening. Temps struggling above 2/4C further frost and ice tonight.
Wednesday – further wintry showers and staying cold.
Thursday – a fine dry and sunny day. Staying cold.
Friday – a showery day.
