On this Wednesday morning we are seeing a wet start to the day with a mixture of light and heavy rain. Blustery winds. It’s mild.

A SEPA flood alert was issued yesterday for the Western isles and we remain under that this morning. Full details can be found via the SEPA website.

Across the highlands and islands on Tuesday south Uist range was the wettest with 6.2 mm of rain.

Today – a wet start to the day. Becoming drier later with a few sunny spells. Winds will also ease and staying mild.

Thursday – will be mild breezy and rain will push in later.

Friday – feeling very mild. Overcast and windy with some light rain and drizzle.

Saturday – staying wind but cooler. Further rain.
