Wednesdays forecast – Wet start but improving.

Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing a wet evening with heavy rain pushing across the Western Isles. Winds gusting 30 to 40 mph.

Overnight – We are going to see further heavy rain across the Western Isles. This will be persistent at times. The cloud will dominate. Winds will be fairly strong. Winds of 20 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph.

Morning – The cloud is going to dominate. Some sunny spells. Further spells of rain but the rain will slowly become lighter as the morning goes on. Winds will ease down a little. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Afternoon and evening – The cloud is going to dominate with a few sunny spells and a few clear spells after sunset. For most it will be dry but the odd shower cannot be ruled out. Winds will be brisk around 15 to 30 mph with some gusts reaching 40 mph.

Winds will be South Westerly direction and temps will range from 6C to 11C
