Good evening Western Isles we had our warmest day of the year so far today with 13C being reached across part of the Western isles. We are seeing a mostly dry end to the day. However there are some showers and heavy rain out West and some of these are creeping into North Uist and Barra as I type this. Its still windy and mild.
Overnight – We are going to see a mostly dry night. Plenty of cloud. A few scattered showers are possible. Its going to stay mild and windy. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.
Friday day time – Its going to be a mixture of cloud and sunny spells. The cloud is going to be thick in many places but some morning and early afternoon sunshine is possible. Its going to be windy once again. Some light rain and drizzle. Winds of 30 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph and at times reaching 60 mph across the Uists and Barra as we go into the evening.
Winds will be Southerly and South Westerly direction and temps will range from 8C to 13C
