Sundays forecast – Mild and breezy.

On this Saturday evening we are seeing heavy and persistent rain moving across the Western Isles. Its still windy but it is easing down slowly.

Overnight – The rain will have cleared away for most we are going to see plenty of clear skies to start the night. But cloud will increase as we go into the early hours of Sunday morning with a few scattered showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Its going to be fairly overcast once again. A few sunny spells are possible. Winds will start fairly light in the morning but will increase as we go into the afternoon. Mostly dry but a few scattered showers. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 45 mph.

Evening – It will be overcast and we are going to see rain push into the Western Isles which will be patchy to start with but will become heavier. Winds will be fairly strong. Winds of 20 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph.

Winds will be Southerly and South Easterly direction and temps will range from 5C to 11C
