Good afternoon Western isles on this Saturday afternoon we are seeing plenty of sunshine and variable amounts of cloud with a few showers around.
It’s nice to see the view from space showing some clear skies after the cloud has finally broken.
Overnight Saturday into Sunday will see a cold night with a risk of frost and ice as temps drop under clearing skies. Sunday itself will see light winds plenty of sunshine and variable amounts of cloud. A few light showers possible. High pressure sits across the UK.
Monday is going to see a wet day. With heavy and persistent rain. We are going to see gusty winds reaching 30/40 mph. High pressure has retreated and cold front pushes across the UK.
Tuesday – will see a chilly day. A few wintry showers around. Some of these heavy at times. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine.
Low pressure sits close to the Western isles.
