Good afternoon Western isles on this Sunday afternoon we are seeing plenty of sunshine around. Prolonged sunshine in places with variable amount of cloud. Brisk winds and a few lingering showers.
Today’s view from space highlights the sunshine and cloud.
Monday is going to see an overcast and showery day. The cloud will dominate and it will be breezy. Showery rain to start the day before more heavy rain pushes in during the evening. weather fronts push across the UK bringing the unsettled conditions.
Tuesday is going to see a day of squally showers some of these will be wintry at times. It’s going to feel cold once again with breezy conditions. across the UK with low pressure in the North Sea and high pressure allowing cold air to come down from the North.
Wednesday is going to see another cold day. Squally showers will move down from the North. Some of these will be wintry at times.
As you can see from the chart below we can see low pressure in the North Sea with cold air coming down from the North.
