Thursdays forecast – Changes are coming

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing a dry end to the night for most. A couple of light showers. A mixture of clear skies and cloud.

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. However the cloud will increase as  the night goes on. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Morning  – Still quite a bit of uncertainty as yet to how far south and the timing of the rain but we are likely to see rain and heavy rain pushing into the Western Isles. It will push into Lewis and Harris and maybe working its working its way into the Uists and Barra. Winds of 20 to 30 mph.

Afternoon – Further spells of rain. However this will clear away as the afternoon goes on and we are going to see some decent and prolonged sunshine especially as we go into the early evening. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.

Evening – Will be fine and dry. The rain will have cleared away. We are going to see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. The best of the sunshine across the Uists and Barra. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be North Easterly direction and temps will range from 3C to 9C
