Week ahead forecast – sunshine and settled.

Good evening Western Isles in the week ahead we are going to see plenty more sunshine. Hints of something more unsettled towards the weekend.

Tuesday – Another fine and dry day. Variable amounts of cloud. Plenty of sunshine and brisk winds. Winds of 5 to 25 mph from the East and North East. Temps of 5C to 13C

Wednesday – More sunshine. Increasing amounts of cloud. Breezy. Staying dry. East and South Easterly winds around 5 to 20 mph. Temps of 4C to 12C

Thursday – Is expected to see the cloud increasing. A few sunny spells. Winds will also increase but its expected to stay dry. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the South East. Temps of 4C to 9C but will feel colder in the wind chill.

Friday – Slight change as we head towards the end of the week. But a long way off as yet so a lot can and will change. Sunshine and cloud. It should be dry. Risk of gales as we go into the evening. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph from the South East. Temps will range from 4C to 12C

Long range – Becoming more unsettled.
