Good Afternoon Western isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing beautiful weather across the Western isles as the view from space shows.
Some hazy cloud around as the radar highlights. It’s breezy in places.
We have had the highest temperature so far this year with 17C being recorded at both Met office sites.
Friday will see another mostly fine and dry day. Variable amounts of cloud. It will be breezy.
High pressure still sits over Scandinavia. Weather fronts approach from the West.
Saturday is going to see an overcast day with patchy light rain and drizzle. It will be breezy.
High pressure retreats and we see weather fronts moving across the UK.
Easter Sunday and we are going to see another overcast day with further patchy light rain and drizzle. Winds will increase as the day goes on.
High pressure has moved away from Scandinavia and is allowing the return of the Atlantic and more unsettled conditions.
Lots of uncertainty as yet with next weeks forecast between high pressure and Atlantic systems.
