Friday 19th April Weather Watch

Good Afternoon Western isles it’s another beautiful day across the Western isles. A little bit cooler then yesterday. A max of 16C so far.

Today’s view from space

Recent radar shows the blue skies and hazy sunshine.

For the rest of today temps will fall and and cloud will increase.

Saturday and we are going to see a change in the Weather. It’s going to be an overcast day with some sunshine. Light rain and drizzle. It will be breezy.

The Atlantic has returned. High pressure has slide further south and weather fronts have pushed in.

Sunday is going to see a much more unsettled day. We are going to see some heavy rain push across the Western isles. Winds of 20/40 mph. Rain easing a we go into the evening.

We can see from the chart an area of low pressure 992 mb brining more unsettled conditions. High pressure has slacked across the UK.

Monday is going to see things warm up again. We are going to see a windy day with a mixture of sunshine and cloud.

High pressure builds back in once again. A weather front sits out to the west brining some uncertainty to Monday’s forecast.

Long range: again am going to use that word uncertainty. Looks more unsettled then this week with the risk of rain and wind. Will keep you updated as ever.
