On this Sunday morning we are seeing a wet start to the day. Heavy rain across large parts of the western isles. Mist, low cloud and fog. Drier across the Uists for now. The cloud is dominating.

The pollen forecast for today is moderate.

Across the highlands and islands on Saturday Harris Quidnish had the highest maximum temperature of 11.0C

Today – a rain dominated day. Heavy at times. This will continue throughout the day and varying in intensity. It will becomes wind gusting 30/40 mph.

Monday – rain clears away to give a fine dry and sunny day but windy.

Tuesday – another fine dry day with plenty of sunshine and strong winds.

Wednesday – windy a mixture of sunshine and cloud.
