Week ahead forecast – Mostly settled.

Good evening Western Isles the rest of next week looks sett to stay mostly settled. High pressure will be dominating with a few minor hiccups.

Tuesday – Will see a fine and mostly dry the odd evening shower cannot be ruled out. Plenty of sunshine which will be prolonged at times. Its going to be feeling warm again. Variable amounts if cloud. Winds will be South Easterly direction around 10 to 30 mph. Temps will range from 9C to 18C

Wednesday – Another fine and dry day is forecast with plenty of sunshine. Feeling warm once again with variable amounts of cloud. It will be fairly windy across the Uists. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the South East. Temps will range from 9C to 17C

Thursday – Some rain during the early hours of the morning. However becoming fine and dry with variable amounts of cloud. A little cooler then earlier in the week but still plenty of sunshine. Winds of 10 to 40 mph but easing as the day goes on. Winds will be from the East and South East. Temps will range from 8C to 15C

Friday – A mixture of sunshine and cloud with a few showers. It will be breezy. Winds will be variable and temps will range from 8C to 14C

Long range – Some uncertainty as yet to the dominance of the area of high pressure.
