Saturdays forecast – Sunshine, showers and breezy.

Good evening Western isles on this Friday evening we are still seeing rain moving across the Western Isles. The rain has merged into some longer spells of rain. Its overcast.

Overnight – The heavy rain should slowly clear away. The cloud will dominate with a few clear spells. The rain will be become lighter and more patchy. Some mist and low cloud. Winds of 5 to 15 mph.

Morning and afternoon – We are going to see some sunshine and cloud. Some long and prolonged spells of sunshine at times. But we will see quite a bit of cloud around with a few showers. Some of these could be heavy at times. Winds of 5 to 20 mph gusting 30 mph across the Uists and Barra.

Evening – Some sunshine but the cloud is expected to push into all parts. Some showers but most places are expected to stay dry. Winds of 5 to 20 mph gusting 30 to 40 mph across the Uists and Barra.

Winds will be Easterly and South Easterly changing to come North Westerly to end the day. Temps will range from 8C to 15C
