Friday morning brief

Good Morning Western Isles on this Friday morning this is sight that I did not want to see on radar again till after the summer. Rain sleet and even some snow showers moving across the Western isles. It’s chilly. With some sunny spells and plenty of cloud.

Across the highlands and islands on Thursday Stornoway was the sunniest with 1.1 hours of sunshine.

Today – a mixture of sunshine and blustery showers. Winds of 20/40 mph with rain sleet and over higher ground snow. Prolonged sunshine at times in between. Feeling cold and a risk of some frost and ice later this evening and overnight.

Saturday – showery again. Some of these wintry feeling cold. Some sunshine and plenty of cloud.

Sunday – more settled breezy a few showers still feeling chilly.

Sunday – another cold front blasts through so again feeling chilly.

Monday – becoming showery again but slowly turning milder.

Have a great Friday
