Saturday 4th May Weather Watch

Good evening Western isles on this Saturday evening we are cloud dominating with some showers. Plenty of cloud with a chilly brisk wind.

The rest of today will see further showers and some of these will be heavy and possibly wintry. Some of these will be wintry.

Today’s view from space highlights the cloudy conditions.

Sunday is going to see an overcast day with a few sunny spells, it again plenty of showers. Some of these will be heavy at times. A brisk North Westerly winds of 20/40 mph and feeling cold.

High pressure sits across the UK and an occluded front moves across northern Scotland. For most it will be dry and settled.

Monday will see a mixture of sunshine and cloud with a few showers. It will still be cold with a chilly wind from the North. The cloud will increase as the day goes on.

Across the UK high pressure to the South of the UK and the occluded fronts push Southwards. For most it will be settled.

Tuesday looks set to be mostly fine and dry with plenty of sunshine. The odd shower is possible. Winds will be lighter and it will feel a little warmer then of late.

Low pressure 985 starts to edge towards the UK and an occluded front sits across the centre of the UK. Still some chilly winds from the North
