Sundays forecast – Showery. 

Good evening Western Isles on this Saturday evening we are seeing an overcast end to the day with scatted showers. Some of these heavy in places. A few sunny spells with brisk winds. 

Overnight – We are going to see a mixture of clear skies and cloud. Some showers and they are expected to be mostly light in nature. Temps will drop but expected to stay above freezing for most. However in some inland sheltered spots we could see temps below freezing for a time. Winds of 10 to 20 mph. 

Morning and afternoon – the morning will see a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few showers around with plenty of cloud. The showers will increase in frequency as we go into the afternoon. In between we are going to see some decent and prolonged sunny spells. However the North Westerly wind will make it feel chilly. Winds of 10 to 30 mph. 

Evening – Further showery spells. The cloud will dominate with a few clear and sunny spells. The winds will stay brisk around 10 to 30 mph. 

Winds will be North Westerly in direction and temps will range from 3C to 10C
