Thursdays forecast

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing rain across Lewis and Harris. The rain is heavy in places. Drier across the Uists and Barra. We are seeing brisk winds with some sunshine. The best of the Sunshine across the Uists and Barra.

Overnight – We are going to see a cloud dominated night. Some spells of rain which should gradually become lighter as the night goes on. Some clear skies and under the clear skies a chance of a touch of frost. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Morning – Will be fairly overcast with the cloud dominating. A few sunny spells which will increase by late morning. It will be showery and at times these showers will be heavy. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Afternoon – Will remain overcast to start with a few showers but these should slowly clear away. Behind we should see plenty of sunshine. This will be prolonged at times. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Evening – Should be fine and dry. We are going to see plenty of sunshine. This will be prolonged. Clear skies as we go into the evening. Variable amounts of cloud. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.

Winds will be North and North Easterly direction and temps will range from 3C to 10C
