Weekend Outlook

Good afternoon, this is the last update till I return form the USA. Forecasts will resume late May early June. So this is just a quick update covering the rest of today and into the Weekend.

On this Thursday afternoon we are seeing plenty of sunshine and cloud. A brisk chilly wind with some showers moving across the Western Isles. Some of these are intense in places. There is a low risk they may thundery. Some hail mixed in.

Rest of today will be a mixture of sunshine and cloud. A few showers some of these heavy at times but are expected to be well scattered.

Friday – Another day of sunshine and showers, some of these will be heavy at times. In between the sunshine will be prolonged with variable amounts of cloud. Winds of 5 to 20 mph from the North East. Temps will range from 4C to 9C

Saturday – Should be a fine and dry day for most. The odd light shower cannot be ruled out. Variable amounts of cloud but most should see prolonged sunshine. Winds will be Northerly and North Westerly direction around 10 to 20 mph and temps will range from 4C to 9C

Sunday – Another fine dry day. Plenty of cloud. with some sunny spells. Best of the sunshine in the evening. Winds will change direction allowing it to become warmer. Winds will be Easterly and South Easterly direction around 10 to 30 mph and temps will range from 5C to 12C

Long range – A long way off as yet but things are expected to stay settled. Warmer and mostly dry with plenty of sunshine. More in line with what we expect to say in May.
