On this Thursday morning we are seeing a mostly overcast start to the day. Thick cloud for most with a few sunny spells. Rain for some but it’s mostly light with some heavier rain moving across North Uist and Benbecula at the moment. Winds of around 10/20 mph.
Pollen forecast for today is low.
Across the highlands and islands on Wednesday Stornoway was the wettest with 1.0 mm of rain and Harris Quidnish had the lowest maximum temperature of 11.8C
Today – a cloud dominated day. Some sunny spells and winds of 10/20 mph. Some heavier rain pushing in for the afternoon and early evening. Staying drier the further north you are across Lewis.
Friday – will see heavy rain and stronger winds across most of the western isles with the cloud dominating.
Saturday – looks drier for now with plenty of cloud and lighter winds.
Sunday and Monday – set to be wet and windy as low pressure moves in.
