Saturdays forecast – Showery.


Good evening Western Isles, I know there are quite a number of outdoor events on Saturday so first thing to say is it wont be as wet as Friday. On this Friday evening we are seeing a mostly dry end to the day. The rain has cleared away for most. Some light rain and drizzle lingering in patches. The cloud is dominating.

Overnight – We are going to see a cloud dominated night. Some light rain and drizzle. Especially across Lewis and Harris. Some clear spells but for most it will stay overcast. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 35 mph.

Morning and afternoon – It will start off overcast with light rain and drizzle. A funny spells. Showers will become more frequent and at times heavier by late morning and as we go into the afternoon. More frequent across Lewis and Harris. In between some decent and prolonged sunshine. By late afternoon these showers are expected to become more scattered. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – Into the evening and the showers are expected to clear away for most and any remaining showers are expected to be light. We will see a few sunny spells but the cloud is dominating. Winds of 10 to 20 mph.

Winds will be Southerly and South Westerly direction and temps will range from 9C to 14C
