Good Morning Western Isles this is your morning brief
On this Saturday morning we are seeing a band of showery rain moving across the Western isles. This has become more organised during the last hour and is pushing northwards and will bring rain to Lewis and Harris by late morning and early afternoon. We are see plenty of cloud with some sunshine. Away from the main band of rain we are seeing light rain and drizzle.
Across the highlands and islands on Friday Harris Quidnish was the wettest with 28.6 mm of rainfall and also had the lowest temperature of 12.7C
Pollen forecast for today is low.
Today – a cloud dominated day. Some sunny spells. A band of showery rain moving across the Western isles. Further showers behind it. Becoming drier again this evening. Feeling milder then off late. Winds of 10/20 mph gusting 30 mph.
Sunday – further rain with another overcast and breezy day with some sunny spells.
Monday – a sunshine and showers day with winds gusting 30/40 mph.
Tuesday – finally turning more settled. Plenty of sunshine and dry.
