Sunday morning brief

Good Morning Western Isles this is your morning brief – again sorry for the later update. Still catching up on sleep from my trip away 😴.

On this Sunday morning we are seeing yet again another wet morning further rain which is heavy in places. Mist and low cloud along with brisk winds. Drier across the South Uist and Barra.

Across the highlands and islands on Saturday Harris Quidnish had the lowest maximum temperature of 12.5C

Pollen forecast for today is low.

Today – further spells of rain. Drizzle and brisk winds. Increasing amounts of sunshine for the late afternoon and into the evening. But becoming showery again. Winds of 20/30 mph some gusts reaching 40 mph.

Monday – will see another showery and breezy day. Showers will be heavy at times.

Tuesday – light rain and drizzle clearing to give a fine dry end to the day. Plenty of sunshine.

Wednesday – some showers. Plenty of cloud. Light winds.
