Week ahead forecast – Mixed week and staying cool.

Good evening Western Isles for the week ahead its going to stay fairly cool and no real signs of things getting warmer yet. We are going to see some decent spells of dry weather with a few showery days. April spoiled us. Hopefully June will eventually get us back on track.

Tuesday – We are going to see plenty of sunshine which will be prolonged. It will feel quite warm in the sunshine. Some light rain and drizzle. With variable amounts of cloud. Winds will be Westerly and North Westerly direction around 10 to 20 mph. Temps will range from 7C to 13C

Wednesday – Will turn colder with Northerly and North Westerly winds. We are going to showers. Some of these heavy at times. The cloud is going to dominate with a few sunny spells. Winds will be around 10 to 20 mph. Temps will range from 5C to 11C

Thursday – Some overnight rain as we go Wednesday into Thursday. We are going to see a mostly dry day. The cloud will dominate we will see some sunny spells in the breaks in the cloud. Winds of 10 to 25 mph from the North West but will shift to come South Westerly direction to end the day. Temps will range from 6C to 14C

Friday – A long way off yet but we are going to see a sunshine and shower day. Some of the showers will be heavy at times. But turning drier as we go into the evening. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the North and North West. Temps will rang from 8C to 12C
