Good afternoon Western isles on this Tuesday afternoon we are seeing a mostly dry but overcast day. Some sunshine and light rain and drizzle, a few heavier showers across Lewis and Harris.
The rest of today will see further light rain and drizzle. Staying overcast. Some sunny spells. Brisk winds.
The best of the sunshine today can be found across South Uist and Barra, with today’s view from space.
Wednesday will see another fairly overcast day with some sunny periods. Brisk winds of around 20/40 mph across the Western isles. Some light rain and drizzle once again and feeling cool.
Across the UK fairly strong winds for the North and further heavy rain for England, Wales and parts of Scotland
Thursday and it’s pretty much the same again for the Western isles. Overcast day with some sunny periods. Light rain and drizzle. Winds of 20/40 mph and feeling cool as the winds come In from the North. Heavier rain is expected to push in during the evening.
Across the UK low pressure is firmly in charge, further spells of heavy rain are expected.
Friday it will feel warmer then of late however we are going to see a day of sunshine and heavy showers. Winds will drop for a time before increasing again into the evening.
