Thursdays forecast – more of the same.

Good evening Western Isles on this Wednesday evening we are seeing a overcast end to the day with light rain and drizzle. Some sunny spells but for most it cloudy. Brisk winds gusting 30 to 40 mph with some strong gusts reaching 45/50 mph. Its chilly.

Overnight – We are going to see a cloud dominated night once again with a few clear intervals. Some light rain and drizzle. Winds of 20 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – The cloud will dominate once again. A few sunny intervals at times. Further spells of light rain and drizzle. Mostly light but we could see the odd heavier spell of rain at times. Winds will ease a little. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – Further spells of light rain and drizzle with increasing risk of some heavier rain for time across the Uists and Barra. Some sunny interludes but again the cloud dominating. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be Northerly and North Easterly direction and temps will range from 6C to 11C ( its summer I promise)
