Fridays forecast – Rain, then showers followed by sunshine.

Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing rain moving across large parts of the Western Isles. Rain is heavy in places. We are seeing light rain and drizzle elsewhere with the cloud dominating. Brisk winds.

Overnight – we are going to see a cloud dominated night. Further spells of rain which will be heavy and possibly thundery. Cloud will dominate with the occasional clear spells. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.

Morning – We are going to see an overcast morning. Further spells of rain which will be heavy at times. Some of these showers could be thundery at times. In between some sunny spells. Winds of 5 to 30 mph.

Afternoon and evening – We are going to see the cloud break for a time. Allowing for plenty of sunshine which will be prolonged at times. however in between we are going to see further showers which again at times will be heavy and possibly thundery. winds of 5 to 30 mph.

Winds will be Southerly and South Westerly direction shifting South Easterly direction toe end the day. Temps will range from 7C to 14C
