Saturdays forecast – Sunshine and showers.
Good evening Western isles on this Friday evening we are seeing a fine end to the day. Plenty of clear skies with some cloud. Winds are brisk.
Overnight – We are going to see a dry start to the night with clear skies and some cloud. However showers will push into the Uists and Barra. Eventually spreading into all parts. Winds of 10 to 20 mph gusting 30 mph.
Morning – We are going to see showers moving across the Western Isles. Merging into longer spells of rain. Some sunny spells but the cloud is expected to dominate. Winds of 10 to 20 mph with some gusts reaching 30 mph.
Afternoon – Is going to see further showers across Lewis and Harris. These will be heavy at times with some sunshine. These showers are expected to clear by late afternoon. Across the Uists and Barra we should see some decent and prolonged sunshine. Showers will have cleared away from here with some cloud. Winds of 10 to 25 mph.
Evening – Is expected to be fine and dry across the Western Isles. We are gong to see prolonged sunshine even wall to wall sunshine to end the day. The odd lingering shower cannot be ruled out. Winds of 5 to 20 mph.
Winds will be South and South Easterly direction becoming variable. Temps of 7C to 16C
